The first issue of Hattie Magazine was created out of a love for print and a desire to slow down how our stories are held.
This issue documents contemporary Black television and film as it is happening right now, centering conversation, imagery, and the people whose work often lives behind the scenes. It is meant to be read, shared, and kept close, designed as a collectible and part of an ongoing effort to preserve Black film culture in print.
